As a photographer, I am drawn to the fleeting nature of images created by shadows and light, both in the built and in the natural environment. I’m intrigued by the alternate world created by the silhouettes in our own world.

My fluid acrylic paintings explore the organisation of pattern and colour, the collision of edges, lines and intersections. My work is inspired by the textures, energy and rhythms of the natural world. In creating these pieces, I enjoy working with the flow of the paint, the tension of intention with the curiosity of chemistry, the collaboration of creator and medium.
